Recent visitors at Lorna Sambor's were John and
Shirley Sizemore, Pat Hannegrefs, Galen and Della Kabanuck, Bob Kabanuck from
Germany, and Lila Fannik.
The Sunday Worship in the Max Park as a part of
the Rodeo was a blessing and everyone enjoyed the beautiful day and picnic.
Only satisfied results from the Rummage Sales
during the Rodeo week-end, have been reported.
The All School Reunion has been set for June
24-26, 2016. There will be planning meetings every fourth Sunday at 2:30 at the
Max Senior Center. There will be a meeting this very next Sunday afternoon, the
23rd.
The Max Senior Citizens will have their potluck
and meeting at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 28th. The speaker will be Michelle
Effertz of the N.D.S.U. Extension Service. She will be talking to us about
knowing our medications and non-medications. Everybody is welcome. You do not
need to be a member of the Senior Citizens to take in this program.
October 24th will be Civic Club's Annual Steak
Fry.
