Congratulations to Bonnie and Galen Scheresky of Max on the birth of their son, Gabriel John, on November 4th. Gabriel has two sisters and one brother waiting for him at home. His maternal grandparents are Alfreda and the late John Sauer of Langdon. Paternal grandparents are Gertrude Scheresky of Max and Dennis Scheresky of Minot. Congratulations to all of you!
Nancy Gullickson is a surgical patient in a Minneapolis Hospital and your prayers would be very much appreciated. Nancy had her second surgery this past week, for breast cancer. Let us all remember her and her family.
Word has been received that Archie Zahursky is regaining his strength quickly so should be able to come home soon. He is presently getting physical therapy in a Minot nursing home.
Sunnyslope Homemakers met last week at Phyllis Narum's in Douglas. Around seven were able to attend. The Homemaker's Christmas party was planned.
This Friday, tomorrow, November 20th is the Max Senior Citizens' potluck lunch and meeting at noon. There will be an election of officers.
The Senior Citizens will hold their Christmas potluck/party on December 13th at 4:30 p.m. at the Over 55 Club building. There will be a short December meeting held at the same time. And there will be a gift exchange with gifts for either a man or a woman, with a limit of $5.00.
