We want to express our sincere sympathy to John
and Shirley (Lushenko) Sizemore of Max, ND and Orange Park, Florida. Their 41
year old son, Jonathan Ross (Jon) Sizemore was recently killed in an accident.
Jon was the owner/operator of Communications Solutions Inc. in Jacksonville, FL
for the past 14 years. Jon was a loving husband and dearly loved his two sons
and family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, camping, golf, and reading. Jon
was a baptized believer and made it a point to show that Jesus was in his
heart. He was a member of Hibernia Baptist Church.
John and Shirley Sizemore's mailing address is

By now many of you know about the stolen
ambulance taken from Trinity Hospital in Minot and colliding with our oldest
grandchild, grandson Cole Zaderaka, son of Mark and Lori Zaderaka of Minot, on
November 20th., south of Carrington, N.D.
If you want to read 'The Rest of the Story', read last week's Ryder News
in the McLean County Independent!
It is with much thankfulness that we had a
complete family Zaderaka Thanksgiving as our Cole was released out of the
hospital after only 3 days and able to be with us. As of this writing, he is
back in Fargo ready to take on his classes at N.D.S.U. in the morning. Thank you
for all of your prayers and concern. As a young child, he felt we should sing
Happy Birthday to Jesus before we prayed and sat down for our Christmas
dinner!! That's our Cole!
Several events are coming up fast in our Max
community. Tonight, December 3, at 7 p.m. is the town's Christmas Tree
Lighting. Everyone is asked to bring a plate of holiday cookies to share and
Civic Club will be serving Hot Cocoa! There will be caroling and the lighting
of the Christmas tree. There will be a food drive and all items will be
collected through Santa Day on December 19th which will then be given to Our
Savior Lutheran Church's Food Pantry.
The Max Seniors will be having their Christmas
Party on Thursday, December 17th at noon.
It is potluck and bingo with Robbin Plesuk entertaining. Michelle
Effertz spoke on Stress Management at the November Seniors' Meeting.
