Notice to City of Max Water Users

Maguire Iron is scheduled to complete repairs to the City of Max water tower.  Estimated starting time frame is the week of June 10 – 15, 2013.  During this rehabilitation project, the tower will be drained and the City will be operating on line pressure only.  The estimated project duration is 45 days.  Users are asked to conserve water during completion of the project and the fill house will be shut down.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Don't forget to let Lesli Talbott (701-240-7048) know if you would like to participate in the 5K run/walk on Friday June 14th at 9 pm.

The Max Civic Club is sponsoring this Summer Solstice 2013. The 5K run/walk is at 9 p.m. on Friday June 14th with registration starting at 8 p.m. at the Civic Center. On Saturday, June 15th the City Wide Rummage Sales will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Also on Saturday from 3:30-4:30 is Zumba in the Park, with the potluck picnic in the park at 5:00 p.m. There will be a free-will donation basket with all proceeds going to the Garrison Elementary School. The school lost books and supplies in a recent fire

It’s time for swimming lessons: June 10-14 (drive yourself, call Holly Kersten at 720-5135); June 17-21 (bus...Lesli Talbott at 240-7048); and August 5-9 (bus.....Amy Hauf at 337-6614).

And it is also time for the Max Community Library's Summer Reading Program 2013, entitled "Dig Into Reading"! Summer reading @ 10 a.m. June 3, 10, 17, and 24th. July 1st is the Finale Picnic @ City Hall Park at 10 a.m.
