The City of Max is not, at this time, subjected to the water boil order currently in effect for the Minot and other areas. Max receives its water from the Voltaire treatment plant, which has not been affected by contaminated water.

Notice from the City of Max:
North Prairie Rural Water District supplies water to the City of Max. Due to the Flooding in Minot, our water volume may be reduced. Please conserve water as much as possible.

"North Prairie Rural Water District Customers South and West of Minot will have the water shut off until further notice. Please all other customers conserve water."

Important: They are still looking for softball teams for the tournament on Saturday, July 2nd, that starts at 12 p.m. during the All-School Reunion. Contact Dave Roedocker at roedocker@srt.com .
Swimming lessons are going on this week. If you missed this session, there are still a few openings for the August session, so call Lynae Schroeder at 679-2505 if you want to register your child for August.
Today, Thursday, June 23rd, T-ball and Pee-Wee will be in Max at 6 p.m. Next week on June 28th T-ball will be at 6 p.m. and Pee-Wee at 7 p.m. in Washburn. These will be in Max at 6 p.m. on July 7th. If you have any questions, call Sara Ruhland, the Summer Rec. Coach at 529-4858.
Anyone having items to share with classmates and friends in the Memory Room during the upcoming Reunion, please drop them off at the school. If you have any questions call Joyce Malling at 679-2672. Only one more week-end before the All-School Reunion July 1,2, and 3rd.
Senior Citizens' potluck and meeting will be on June 24th at 6 p.m.
The Max landfill will have weekly open evening hours for the summer. Weather permitting, it will be open on Wednesday evenings from 5-8 p.m. through the summer, starting on June 15th. To have the landfill open at other times, please call the Auditor's Office at 679-2770 to make arrangements.
