This past Friday the Max Senior Citizens had their noon potluck with the October meeting following. The next potluck and meeting will be held on Friday, November 20th at noon, instead of the regular fourth Friday, being that follows Thanksgiving Day. At this November meeting the election of officers will be held. Up for re-election are the President and the Secretary. The Treasurer is resigning so that office will have to be filled too, by election. The present officers are Joy Lies, President: Linda Haynes, Secretary; and Linda is also the treasurer but this will be a separate position from now on. Please do not miss this meeting or you may be holding an office!
It was decided too that the Max Senior Citizens will hold their Christmas potluck/party on December 13th at 4:30 p.m. at the Over 55 Club building. A short December meeting will be held at the same time. There will be a gift exchange with gifts for either a man or a woman and a limit of $5.00.
A very nice birthday get-together was held at the Over 55 Club building on this past Friday afternoon for Ethel Boettcher's 97th. birthday. Ethel enjoyed her many cards and gifts
The Max Civic Club Steak Fry this past Saturday evening was very well attended and the steaks were delicious! This coming Saturday is Halloween so please watch out for the many little ones going door to door for their treats. Enjoy seeing them in their cute and scary costumes!
