The St. Matthew chimes are playing Christmas
Carols now, and now that you have more time, you will enjoy them so much more.
Linger on Main Street or by the church to listen to them, from your
vehicle. You might even hear them from
your home, if the wind is in the right direction. They are really nice to
listen to. The chimes are in memory of Arnold Schmidt of Max, Marian Schmidt's
husband. Thank you, Marian and family for
adding this beautiful piece of art to the community.
