There is
sadness in our little communities again. Former Principal and English teacher
in the Max School, Mrs. Leslie Sorenson (Delores - 'Babe') passed away February
8th in Bismarck where they were living after being displaced by the flood of
2011 in Minot. Virginia Fannik Sides' husband, Harold, passed away in
Stockbridge, Georgia. He is Lila Fannik's son-in-law. Then Daniel Olson was the
victim of a vehicle accident over the week-end. His parents are Jerry and Kay
Olson of Douglas. We extend our sincere sympathy to these families.
Our
Savior Lutheran Church in Max will be holding a 3-day Bible Camp for preschool
through 6th grade. It will be from 9a.m.-3p.m. on June 11th, 12th, and 13th.
Cost per child is $10.00. Please let Jessica Henne or Megan Olson know if you

Friday,
the 24th the Senior Citizens will be having their potluck and meeting at noon
in their center on Main Street in Max.
Interested guests are very welcome to join us at noon for the potluck or
come just for the meeting at approximately 12:30.
