The second session of swimming for those driving their kids to the YMCA is June 18-22. The lessons start at 10:45 and end at 12:15. Please be a few minutes early for dropping off and picking up. The cost is $36.50 per child (or if you are a Civic Club member, $18.25 per child). Please be sure to pay the YMCA on Monday at the front desk and let them know you are there for the Max Swimming Lessons. If you have any questions, please call Lynae at 679-2505.

Max's T-ball team will have a game with Underwood at 5:30 in Max today, June 14th. The Pee-Wee game is at 6:30 and Softball at 7:30, all with Underwood and held on the Max school grounds. You may find it fun to watch the little ones. The next series of games is on Tuesday the 19th at Garrison, starting at 6 p.m.

The Schmidt Museum located on Main Street in Max will be open during the month of June on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-noon and 1-3 p.m. Free admission and everyone is welcome. You will be surprised when you step through that front door!

On the back of the community calendar, the Max School has a couple of items for sale on bids. Read it over. 

Come to the Max City Park on June 27th around 7 p.m. and again on June 28th around 6 p.m. Two Car Clubs will be holding their meetings there those days and will have their beautiful, antique and classic cars there for you to check out.

Coming soon, on Friday June 22nd the Max Senior Citizens will be having their 6 p.m. potluck and meeting at the Max Senior Center (Over 55 Club) building.

Marlo Zaderaka's 14 year old daughter, Zoe Shilah Zaderaka, is presently in Switzerland with a "People to People" group. She, along with about 45 others around her age and chaperones were in the air for 17 hours to arrive there. Before they return, in 21 days, they will be touring Paris. She was nominated through her school, Erik Ramstad. Zoe is Eugene and Margaret Zaderaka's granddaughter.
