The Max community has lost a wonderful young
woman in a tragic car accident. Brittany Westman, 26, daughter of Roger and
Grace Westman, was soon to be married to Tyson Lynne of Plaza. We are so sorry
for your loss.
Another life was lost when a man from Mandan
missed a turn by the Max Elevator and slammed under a train car standing still
on the nearby track.
School pictures will be taken on September 15th,
Civic Club will meet at 7 p.m. on September 14th, and the Max Senior Citizens
will meet at 6 p.m. on September 25th for their potluck and meeting.
The next Planning Meeting for the 2016 All School
Reunion will be held at the Senior Center at 2:30 on September 27th. Everyone is welcome to attend and take part,
even if you aren't a Max Alumni.
The Annual Max Civic Club Steak Fry will be held
on October 24th. Only 300 tickets are
being sold and you may purchase them from area businesses or a Civic Club
member. The entertainment this year is "The Magic and Mirth of Bill
Sorensen" and "Off the Wall Humor of Clyde Baumen AKA Mylo
Hatzenbuhler.
