The Good News birthday party for Jesus will be held Tuesday, December 8th, after school. This will be held in the school.

The Max Community Library will be holding open houses on Thursday, December 10th and Monday, December 14th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. for interested individuals to drop in and learn how to use the library's online services. People can learn how to reserve books, check their accounts, and perform other functions online. The system is very user-friendly. Coffee and cookies will be served.

Saturday, December 12th is "Santa Day" in Max. Pancakes and sausage will be served from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Max Civic Center. Mugs and Hugs by the McLean Sheriff's Department will be there. And of course, Santa will be arriving! This event is sponsored by Bremer Bank and Insurance and the Max Civic Club.

Sunday, December 13th at 1:30 is the Senior Citizens' Potluck Christmas Party at the Over 55 Center. It will be alot of fun! Don't forget the gift exchange.

Then Saturday, December 19th, there will be an Open House for Max Stolt to honor him on his 80th birthday. This will be held in the Over 55 Center. More information on the time will be in next week's news.

Delayed: Emily Fannik celebrated her 5th birthday with her Grandma's and Grandpa's, Lorna Sambor and Lila Fannik, and Carolyn and Allen Barden, along with Sarah and Angele Becker.

The Max Senior Citizens are collecting Our Family bar codes. Five cents for each bar code will go to the Head Injury Project at Valley City - sponsored by the Eagles Club in Minot. You may leave these at the Over 55 Center or give to any Senior Citizen.
