Congratulations to Lenore Huettl who celebrated
her 97th birthday on August 7th. Many family members and friends gathered on
Sunday, August 10, at Benedictine Living Center to bring her birthday wishes,
enjoying ice cream and cake with her.
Looking for fresh garden produce? Come to the
Farmer's Market being held on Main Street, Max, in front of the cafe. Everyone
is welcome to come weekly and set up a table and sell their garden produce,
baked goods, jams/jellies, fruits. On Wednesdays it will begin at 10 a.m. and
Saturdays it will begin at 9:30 a.m. This will continue weekly until September
20 or as long as there are vendors interested. There is no fee to set up. Tell
others!

Warren and Kathy Huettl returned to their home in
Max July 23 after traveling to Yelm, Washington, to visit their daughter,
Sarena, and granddaughters, Ashlynne and Kayli.
Kathy Huettl returned home Tuesday following
surgery on Monday in Bismarck at St. Alexius Medical Center. We wish her a speedy recovery.
