July 29, 2010

We welcome a new little girl into the community. Peyton was born on Friday, July 16th and her father, Matt Olson, passed away on Sunday, July 18th from natural causes. Matt was very proud of his little daughter, who made him a Daddy. Peyton's mother is Wendy Day, Matt's fiance. Welcome little Peyton.

Reminder: The second session of swimming lessons is being held on August 2-6 from 2:00-3:30. If you are registered to ride the bus, please have your child to the school by 1:15 daily and arrange for pickup at 4:10. Payment of $32.50 per child should be made out to the YMCA and sent with your child on Monday. Any questions, call Lynae at 679-2505.

Reminder: Phone Susan Halverson if you are planning on having a garage sale on August 7th - Max's City-wide garage sale day. She can then put your location on the free map that each shopper can get. The garage sales will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The All-School Reunion to be held on July 1, 2, and 3 of 2011 has a "Wish List". They are needing food vendors; silent auction items are needed; items for the Memory Room at the school--preferably ones not displayed before--are needed; and fund raising ideas are needed. Contact Kathy Huettl at wkjh@rtc.coop; phone her at 679-2499 and leave a message; or write her at P.O. Box #284; Max, N.D. 58759 if you can help with any of these "Wishes".

The Max Rodeo will be held on August 6th and 7th - coming very soon!
