The Max Community Library is having a fund
raising breakfast this weekend, Sunday, February 8th. There will be a free will
offering breakfast of french toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice
from 9:30-1:00. All proceeds will be going to the library and its programs.
There will also be a book sale where all books will be 50 cents each!
St. Matthew’s Ladies are again quilting on
Tuesdays at the church. Come at 10 a.m. or whenever you can. The lunch is
potluck.
Max Civic Club is hosting an Ice Cream Social at
the Max Civic Center on Monday February 9th at 7 p.m. This is their annual
membership drive. Your membership and dues help make many-many events in Max
happen!
Southside Bar is having Bingo twice a month, with
the next Bingo Day being February 10th.
Watch for the ads for the Valentine Specials at
the Max Cafe on Valentine’s Day.
Looking ahead, on the 17th, there will
be another school building informational meeting at 6:30. School Bond election day will be held that
Friday, the 20th.
The Max Senior Citizens will hold their February
meeting at noon on February 27th. Then on March 1st the Senior Citizens will be
putting on a breakfast. More details later.
March 22nd is the Max Garrison Ambulance
Breakfast.
