If you have a computer, log onto the Max website, www.maxnd.com, and check into the Swap Shop feature. You may list things there that you have for sale or are wanting to purchase. If you don't have a computer, you may phone Tamra Huesers at 679-2030 with your information or find someone who has a computer to enter your information. There are alot of wonderful features on the city web-site -- travel through it! Next week I will try to list some of the items for sale or wanted.

The Mandan Braves High School Baseball team won the 2010 North Dakota State A Baseball championship at the tournament that was held at the Dave Ressler Field at Mandan's Veteran's Memorial Ball Park, June 3, 4, and 5th. DeWitt Mack, formerly of Max, is their head coach. His son, Dwight J, is a member of the team. Also a member of the team is Lorel and Renee Jungling's son, Reid. Congratulations!

The Max Alumni Association will hold the next meeting on Sunday, July 11th at 2 p.m. Tentative location will be the Max Civic Center. The group is still in need of people to help on committees and be chairpersons of committees. At the last meeting it was the consensus that if we do not get more people to attend the meetings and volunteer to assist with the activities, the event may be very streamlined. At this point, confirmed activities are Friday night entertainment, a meal for Saturday night, Saturday parade and a booklet. If you can help, please let us know and hope we will have more attending the next meeting.
