The Bountiful Baskets program is well liked and the report is that the fresh fruit and vegetables you get are delicious. If you would like more information, contact Jessica Henne at 679-2256. As it states on the community calendar, you place your order on Monday and that Saturday it all arrives in Max, every other week.

More Water Outages to Occur: From "In the Loop," June 30th, 2013

As a side effect of the ongoing water tower refurbishing project, another water line break has occurred in the City of Max.  Because of this break, the water will be off in Max from approximately 11:00 pm Sunday evening until approximately 5:00 - 5:30 am Monday morning, July 1st.  At that time, the water will be turned back on until approximately 10:00 am, at which time the water will again be shut off and will stay off until the break is repaired.  This is the expected schedule, though changes in the severity of the break or other unseen circumstances could alter the plan.  The City of Max and maxnd.com will pass on any pertinent information updates as they are available.
