Happy 50th. Anniversary to Pete and Joy Lies! There will be an open house on Saturday, August 21st, at the Senior Center in Max, from 2 - 4 p.m. for them. Congratulations!
Next Friday, August 27th, the Senior Citizens will be having their potluck at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7:00. During the meeting, a short video will be shown on osteoporosis. Everyone is welcome to come see this video.

School starts in Max on Monday, August 23rd. There will be no school on Labor Day, September 6th.
Important: The next alumni meeting for planning the All School Reunion in 2011, will be at 3:00 at the school on September 12th, a Sunday. You won't be put in as a chairman etc. but you are needed to come and give any information, suggestions, etc.
