Due to a water line break, the North Prairie Water District has requested that the residents of Max and the affected surrounding area conserve water until further notice.

We extend our sincere sympathy to Charlotte
Madsen's family. Charlotte and her husband, the late Palmer Madsen, resided in
Max and were loved by all. Palmer would come into my shop and purchase sewing
thread - it was an honor to meet a man who did such difficult sewing. Charlotte
was 95 years young and always had a smile for you.
Reminder: You may pick up your 'bountiful baskets'
produce at the Max School this Saturday, 27th at 3:30.
Max Senior Citizens' potluck and meeting for
April is at 6 p.m. tomorrow, April 26th.
On Saturday the 27th from 2-4 p.m. there will be
an Open House at the Senior Center to visit with Duwayne and Linda Haynes and
their daughter Kristin. Kristin will
have a variety of products from Gold Canyon Candles and a percentage of the proceeds
will be given to the Max Senior Center. Come see, purchase, and help out the
Senior Center.
