Congratulations go out to Terry Leabo of Fargo. He was picked Rookie Player (top player) of the year in Junior Hockey League in Springfield, Illinois. You know his parents, Denise and Terry Leabo, also of Fargo. The Max grandparents sporting broad grins are Pete and Joy Lies!
April 14th is the Ambulance District Breakfast Fundraiser from 9-1.
Next Thursday, April 18th, is the Adult Health and Foot Care Clinic at the Max Senior Center. Call 463-2641 for an appointment. Leave a message and they will call you back.
Also on the 18th at 7 p.m. is the Music Contest Concert at the school.
April 26th is the Max Senior Citizens' Potluck and meeting at 6 p.m. They meet in the evening now as it is spring - anybody know where it's hiding?
April 30th is the Max School's Activities Banquet. You must sign-up at the school or phone them at 679-2685. Payment must be received before the banquet.
April 27th will be the first week for Max's Food Co-op site. Contributions need to be made on the 22nd at 1 p.m. on www.bountifulbaskets.org. Pick up time is at 3:30 in front of the Max School. If you have any questions, contact Jessica Henne.
