The community of Max is very saddened and shocked at the death of Matt Olson, 33, of Max. Matt passed away of natural causes, in his newly built home in Max. His parents are Sharon and Art Olson of Max and Grandmother Pat McIntyre of Max. Our sincere sympathy to the families.

Lucille Hintz of Sacramento, CA passed away June 10. She is survived by three sons, Gary, Alan, and Brian Bartholomew; brothers Ben Bunas of Chicago, Illinois, Alton Bunas of Seattle, Washington and a sister, Margarete Bunas of Sacramento, CA. She is preceeded in death by her first husband Dean Bartholomew and her second husband, Edwin Hintz.

Tomorrow, Friday, July 23rd is the Max Senior Citizens' 6 o'clock potluck with the meeting to follow.

Don't forget to let Susan Halverson know if you plan to have a garage sale during the City Wide Garage Sale on August 7th. Susan needs to know by July 31st. so she can add your location to the Garage Sale map given to the many shoppers.

Know of any area military serving overseas? Please let the women of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Max know so they can send them a Care Package. They need these names and addresses by the end of July.
