Reminder: Good News Club meets at the Max School
on Monday, December 10th.
Upcoming events in Max are Civic Club on Monday
evening, December 10th at 7 p.m. On Thursday evening, December 13th at 7 p.m.
is the Max School Christmas Concert and on Saturday, December 15th from
9:30-11:30 is the Santa Day Breakfast at the Civic Center.
On Santa Day, Santa Claus himself will arrive
about 9:30. He may take time to enjoy the free breakfast of pancakes and
sausage. McGruff fingerprinting by the McLean County Sheriff's office will be
available and treat bags will be handed out. The Max Santa Day sponsors are
Bremer Bank & Insurance and the Max Civic Club. It is requested you bring
non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the local food pantries.
Foot Care Clinic is Thursday, December 20th. If
you are interested, please call 463-2641 for an appointment.

Honor..........Greg Malling, a Max High School and Minot State University
graduate and former Beulah assistant coach, has been named Wisconsin Football
Coaches Association/Green Bay Packers coach of the year. Malling guided Arrowhead (Wisconsin) High
School to a perfect 13-0 season and a Division 1 state championship.

and I thought that I would start here. I am looking for anyone that may have
information on a centennial party that occurred in Max around the early to mid
70's. My father and uncle played in a band around this time called 'Raven', and
they keep telling me stories about a show they did in Max, and I was hoping to
track down some photos for gifts for them, as they have very fond of memories
for them. I realize that this is probably something that whomever is reading
this has no clue about, but maybe you would have a name of someone for me to
