Tonight, Thursday, December 13th at 7 p.m. the Max School Christmas Concert will be held at the school.

It is exciting! Max has snow for Santa when he arrives in town on Saturday, December 15th. The free Santa Day breakfast will be served from 9:30-11:30 at the Max Civic Center on Main Street. There will be McGruff Fingerprinting and Treat Bags from Santa.  This annual event is sponsored by Bremer Bank & Insurance and the Max Civic Club. Please bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations for the local food pantries.

The Happy Birthday, Jesus party in connection with the Good News Club will be Monday, December 17th.

Foot Care Clinic will be held at the Max Senior Center on Thursday, December 20th. Call 463-2641 for an appointment.

The Community Calendar lists the Max Senior Citizens as having their potluck and noon meeting on December 28th. There will not be a potluck or meeting in December. See you at the Senior Center events in January!

Mark Sambor and his friend Julie of Minnetonka, MN spent Thanksgiving weekend with his Mother Phyllis and his Grandmother Lorna Sambor, Kent and Carson.

Ethel Hauf and Lila Fannik visited Erwin Hauf and Frances Spitanik at the Garrison Nursing Home and The Meadows on Friday. Lila also visited Elaine Eslinger who was Marge Scurlock's room-mate. They enjoyed listing to the live music presented the first Friday of each month.
