May 10, 2012

This coming Saturday, May 12th is Older Americans' Day events at the Max Senior Center on Main Street. It will be held from 10:00 – 1:00 with a bake sale, plants on sale from Kyle's Greenhouse of Garrison, and free pie and coffee will be served. Please note that the time has changed from previous years.

St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Max held their NWML meeting this past Saturday at the church, with Pastor Nelson leading the Bible Study and Idamae Hauf hosting the event.  The group exchanged flower plants, something perfect for spring.

In the www.maxnd.com website there is yet another request for housing in the area. The latest one is from Tyler and Janelle from Wilton coming to Max to take on the Science and PE teaching positions at the Max Public School.

Katie from Minnesota requests housing and Chelsea from Garrison is also requesting housing. Contact Tamra Huesers if you can help in any way. Tamra has access to contacting these people.
