Congratulations to Jessica and Lance Zimmerman on
the birth of their beautiful baby girl on April 17th. Jocelyn Dayle Zimmerman weighed 6#10 oz. and
is 19-3/4 inches long. Jessica is
formerly from Max and the daughter of Rita Semchenko and the late Richard
Semchenko of Max. Congratulations to all of you.
This Thursday evening, April 26th the Max High
School Pops Concert will be held at the school at 7 p.m.
Tomorrow, Friday April 27th the Max Senior
Citizens will be holding their potluck and meeting, all starting at the
summer's schedule of 6 p.m.
This coming Sunday, April 29th at 2 p.m. the Max
Library Partners will be presenting a Movie Matinee in the Civic Center. The
movie is free of charge; concessions will be available for purchase: popcorn,
candy, water for $1 each. You may contact the Library to find out the movie
being shown. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Let's keep
these new events popular by attending.
Then the Max Community Library is having a Book
Club Night on Friday, May 4th at 7 p.m. at the Library. Refreshments will be
served along with a discussion on the book, ROOM by Emma Donoghue. You may get
a copy of this book from the library. The Max Public Library Partners are
giving the community of Max many opportunities. Let's remember to support the
Library.
Take note of the Max Cafe's new summer hours,
starting May first. This is another opportunity in Max that we should gladly
support.
