December 1, 2011

Carol (Donald) Olson, formerly of Max, is a patient at Medcenter One in Bismarck. Carol and Donald ran the Centennial Cafe in Max, along Highway 83. What a nice surprise for Carol to hear from her Max friends. The Medcenter One address is: 300 North Seventh Street, Bismarck, ND 58501.

Dusty Trails 4-H is sponsoring a winter clothing drive until December 19th. They are looking for donations of gently used or new children's hats, scarves, mittens, coats, snowpants, and other winter gear in good condition. A donation box is available at the Max School in the Elementary wing hallway for dropping off donations. Clothing collected will go to local children as well as the area Salvation Army.

Santa Day, sponsored by the Max Civic Club, is December 10th. Will Santa come in his sleigh? There will have to be snow for that and right now things are looking pretty brown. If the forecast is correct, there will be snow for Santa!

December 22nd is the last day of school before the Holiday Break.
