November 23, 2011

We extend our sincere sympathy to Lillie Gullickson's family in the loss of their Mother. Her daughters are LaVonne Jungling of Max, Orian Polsfut of Chandler, Arizona, Darlene Kato and Dorene Smith, both of Minot. Many in Max know Lillie's daughters. Her funeral was Monday, November 21st. Lillie was 93.

Reminders: Don't forget to have DeeOn and Dwight Mack check your present Plan D for a better plan.

November 28th is the school's Christmas Concert. December 10th is Santa Day in Max. Last day of school for 2011 is December 22nd.

Dusty Trails 4-H is sponsoring a winter clothing drive until December 19th. They are looking for donations of gently used children’s hats, mittens, coats, snow pants, and other winter gear in good condition. A donation box is available at the Max School in the Elementary wing hallway for dropping off donations. Clothing collected will go to local children as well as the area Salvation Army.

Happy Thanksgiving wishes from the Max Civic Club and the City of Max!
