A foot care clinic was held Wednesday, July 8th
at the Senior Center. If you would

Alton Bunas 87, formally of Max, died June 29. He
is survived by his wife, Arlene, son Rodney, daughter Lorie and four grandchildren,
all of Seattle, WA; sister Margarete Bunas of Santa Rose, CA; sister-in-law
Doris Bunas of Chicago, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Adolph Olson Family Reunion will be held at
the Max Community Center this Saturday, July 11th from 10-4 p.m.
There is a Memorial Celebration honoring Marleys
(Lindquist) and Jack Hoch, on July 19th, 2015 at the Max Senior Center from 2-4
p.m. Come join Marley's children, Connie, Ron, and Carla as we celebrate and
remember them. Urns are to be placed at Zion Lutheran Cemetery July 21, 2015.
Others attending on July 19th are sister Frances and her husband, Irvin, and
daughter, Joan Hauf. Brother Harold with wife Ellie and brother Gordon will
also attend. Everyone who knew and loved Marleys and Jack are invited to come
join us for refreshments and fellowship.
The Max Senior Citizens will hold their July
meeting and potluck on July 24th at 6 p.m. at their Center. This is their
indoor picnic so the meat will be provided and grilled right there. Please
bring other picnic foods for the potluck.
Less than a month away is Max's Annual Rodeo
which has several busy days of 5K run and a street dance with Badlands Express.
Plus city-wide rummage sales both Friday and Saturday, August 7-8th.
