October 4, 2012

There was a very serious accident west of Max on Friday and many are wondering about it.  I don't have the details but understand several kids were racing and rolled their cars. Nick Brunsell was ejected and is in Trinity's I.C.U. with a broken collar bone, broken ribs, and a mass on his brain. Please remind the drivers in your household to wear their seatbelts and remember Nick in your prayers.

Fall has arrived when the churches start having their dinners! Sunday, October 14th from 1-5 Our Savior Lutheran Church in Max is having their Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner at their church.

On Sunday, October 21st from 10:30-1 The Max Catholic Church will be having their Soup and Sandwich Luncheon. Soups served this year are knoephla, bean and vegetable soup, along with sandwiches and pie. There is also the bake sale and quilt raffle.

Then on Saturday, October 27th the Max Civic Club is having their Annual Steak Fry at the Civic Center.
