Exactly one month from today is the Max Civic
Club Steak Fry. October 27th, a Saturday. You had better get your tickets now;
you know how time flies!
Thursday noon Margaret Zaderaka and her sister,
Elaine Fischer of Garrison, had lunch with their cousin and his wife, John and
Esther Larsen, from Livingston, MT. They toured Eastwood Park and were invited
into the house that John grew up in, to view the flood damage.
Then on Saturday Zoe Zaderaka, Marlo's daughter,
and Samuel Zaderaka, Dean's son spent some fun time at the farm. They enjoyed
seeing the new twin calves born a week earlier. And they gave the three horses
their treats of carrots and Samuel tried to get them to eat 'matoes'. They'd
bite into them but drop them. Then the laughs began when the horses would raise
their upper lip and show their big teeth, with kind of a 'yuck'
expression! Samuel agreed they need to
brush their teeth!
Monday evening, Eugene and Margaret Zaderaka
attended their Granddaughter's induction into the National Honor Society for
Our Redeemer's Church. Emily is Mark and Lori Zaderaka's daughter, and is a
sophomore with a 4.0 grade average.
This Friday, September 28th, is the Senior
Citizens' Potluck and Meeting at 6 p.m. This is the last meeting to be held at
6 o'clock, as for the colder months the meetings will be held at 12 noon. Use
the Senior Center on all the other days too....play cards, put puzzles
together, play the piano, play pool, and just have a good time, 'out of the
house'
