We extend our sympathy to the family and friends of Lowell Nelson, 60, of
Max. And we also extend our sympathy to the family and friends of Paul Osadchy,
98, of Max.
There is a new request for housing, on the Max website. Marilyn Wendlick
from Fargo will be working at Menards in Minot so is looking for some simple
housing...'even an apt. in a basement...just a cozy place to lay my head.'
Contact Tamra Huesers if you know of a 'small and cozy' place.
The area is very dry, as you can see by the brown grass in your yard.
Pastures are nearly without grass for the cattle and soon hunters will be in
these dry areas and some may be smokers, making it even more susceptible for a
fire to start.
If you are going to do any 'controlled' burning, notify the fire department
so when they get calls from others about your fire, they will know you are
controlling it and they do not need to respond.
Any suggestions for other tidbits to go into the Max News? One suggestion
was that we could discuss our aches and pains!!

somewhere else." Laurence J. Peter
