Two wonderful former Max ladies have passed away,
both on Sunday, February 26th. Katie Jungling, 101, passed away in Bismarck. Margaret Scurlock, 88, passed away in Minot.
Jarvis Jungling of Max is Katie's son. Lila Fannik and Lorna Sambor both of Max
are Margaret's sisters. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to both of these
families.
Tonight, Thursday, March 8th at 7 p.m., the Max

Do you often wonder what all the Max Civic Club
does for the community? Please read over the back of this month's free
Community Calendar. Your questions will be answered. And you can come to their
membership drive on March 12th at 7 p.m. at the Max Civic Center and enjoy an
old fashioned ice cream social!
An upcoming event is the Max Senior Citizens Club
French Toast and Sausage Breakfast Sunday, March 18th from 9-1 at the Max Civic
Center. There will be a free will offering.
Depending on how you look at it, this will be
good news or bad news, but Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, yes, this
coming Sunday.
