This
coming Friday, March 2nd at 7:30 the World Day of Prayer Service will be held
at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Max. Everyone is welcome.
This past
Friday's Senior Citizens' potluck and meeting were very well attended, although
we missed the many who are out of state presently. One guest was present. On
March 18th the Seniors will be serving a breakfast at the Civic Center. More
details later on.
A
reminder that we are to bring non-perishable food products to each Senior Citizens' meeting or
in between times. These are then taken to the McLean County Resource Center in
Washburn. One of the Senior Citizens members is from Washburn so she takes
everything back with her, each time.
On the
Max website there is another request for rental housing in Max. This young couple is from Minot and is
expecting their first child in August. Contact Tamra Huesers if you can help
them out.
You may
have noticed vehicles from several different states parked on Main Street on
Saturdays. The Philadelphia Bible Church members are meeting with their leader
in the Max Civic Center or the Senior Citizens building, whichever is
available.
