Delayed news that Lila Fannik hosted Sunnyslope Homemakers on July 12th in her home. These homemakers then had an outing on July 28th that took them to the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison where they gave a short program, including having John and Shirley Sizemore sing. The members visited with the many residents that are from Max and the area. Margaret Scurlock is the Adopted Grandmother of this Sunnyslope Homemakers group so they gave her a corsage! They served angel food cake, ice cream, coffee and/or lemonade. The Sunnyslope Homemaker members attending were Lorna Sambor, Lila Fannik, Mary Lushenko and Marian Schmidt all of Max. Phyllis Narum came from Douglas and Linda and Gordon Krueger came from Minot.

Bruce and Sandy Sorenson and daughter Emily of St. Cloud visited with Lorna, Lila and Phyllis Narum. Colin and Natalie Hankel and daughters, Steve and Joanie Narum, and Carolyn and Alan Barden also visited.

Lila and Lorna visited with Florene and Maurice Knudtson in their Douglas home. Maurice isn't well. We wish both of them good health.

Civic Club meeting time is now 7 p.m. on the 8th.
