"Library Week"
Coming up on November 9th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at
the Max Community Library, Mr. Steve Axtman from the North Dakota State Library
will be teaching about all the Databases the North Dakota Library has to offer.
The next event at the Library, November 12th from
6:30-9:00 p.m. is called "Gallery On the Go" with LaDonna Finnicum.
You will be able to paint; cost is $17 per adult and seating is limited to 15.

For the upcoming Max Library Lunch and Book sale,
November 15th, they are looking for vendors and need you to let Amy Hauf at the
Library know so she will know how many tables she will need. There is no charge
for a table. This event will run from 10:30-1:00.
Friday the 13th is the movie from 7-9 p.m. Please
contact the Library for name of film and anyother information. This is for
those 18 years and above.
This coming Monday evening there is Civic
Club.
With Thanksgiving in the air....the Max Senior
Citizens will have their noon potluck and meeting on Friday, November 20th. Not
their usual fourth Friday of the month as that is the day following the
Thanksgiving celebrations. Can you believe that Friday is the first day of the
Dickens Festival in Garrison! Christmas is around the corner!
An early reminder of the Max Alumni Reunion
planning meeting on Sunday, November 22nd at 2:30 at the Max Senior Center
(Over 55 Building).
Also on this day, November 22nd, Rainbow Photo
will be at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Max to take family pictures. This is
not limited to church members. To schedule your sitting and for any other
