January 15, 2015

On the back of your free Community Calendar there is alot of information about the Max Civic Club. Please read it. The city would be losing many events if the Civic Club can't continue. Their membership drive will be February 9, 2015 with an ice cream social.

Max Public School is having their Homecoming this Friday, January 16th.

On Wednesday, January 21st you may attend a Building Remodel Informational meeting at 7:30 at the school.

Preschool Screening will be at the Max Public School on January 22nd. Your children grew up, too, and too quickly!

This past week the Max Senior Citizens held their Christmas Party at their Center.  Entertainment was provided by Robin Plesuk who played his guitar and sang. The Seniors thoroughly enjoyed his music. Following that, Bingo was played. Harold and Ellie Lindquist came from their home in Minot, to enjoy the event.

"Let us not be content to wait and see what will happen, but give us the determination to make the right things happen." -- Peter Marshall

From last week, January 8th.  This item was not printed due to technical difficulties:
