March 13, 2014

Tonight, 13th, at 7:00 the Max Library Partners will hold their annual meeting.

The World Day of Prayer service was held on Friday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Max. All churches were represented and Pastor Erin Gullickson gave a wonderful and blessed service. All enjoyed the delicious lunch and fellowship following her service.

Lorraine Harchanko Hanley, formerly of Max and now living in CA. will be leaving this next week for a two week trip to the Holy Land. We pray for her safe travels.

This coming Sunday, 16th, the Max Senior Citizens will hold their fundraiser breakfast and silent auction from 9:30-1:00 at the Civic Center.

The Max Farmers Elevator will hold their annual meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 18th, at the Civic Center. In case there is yet one more blizzard or poor weather day for us, the elevator meeting will be held on March 25th.

On Thursday, March 27th, there will be a blood drive at the Max School from 11-5. For more information, call the school at 679-2685.

Friday, March 28th is the Senior Citizens' noon potluck and meeting.
