The Macks of Max are very willing to help you with your Plan D for prescription medicines.  There are various plans that will save you a lot of money.  All you need to do is phone them at 679-2623 and they will set up an appointment to meet them at the Max Senior Center to go over the plans. This service is free.

The Child Evangelism Good News Club will meet in the Max School cafeteria Nov. 5-Dec. 10....meeting from 3:15-4:30, for those 6 weeks. They are held on Tuesdays. On Dec. 10th they will have their Happy Birthday Party for Jesus at the school from 2:15-4:20. Ben Benghi and Heather Decker are heading up this. Everybody is welcome.

Monday, November 11th is Veterans Day. There is no school that day but Civic Club will meet at 7 p.m.

Helping Hands Community Breakfast to be held at the Max Civic Center on Nov. 24th from 9:30-1 p.m. Proceeds are to help with medical expenses for DeAnne Finken. This is a free will offering and checks should be made out to DeAnne Finken. Subsidized by McLean County Thrivent.

Santa Day in Max will be held Dec. 14th.

Phyllis Narum and Steve and Joanie Narum from Douglas along with Lila Fannik from Max, along with many other relatives and friends attended Rick Krebsbach's funeral in the Catholic Church in Bowman, N.D. on October 2nd. Rick's burial was last Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the Garrison Catholic Cemetery.
