From "In the Loop", Sunday, April 28th, 10:00 pm

North Prairie Water District is stating that it expects water service to return to Max and other affected areas by morning.  However, they are asking that people boil all water that is to be used for consumption. The boil order is a precautionary measure, and is to be observed until further notice.  More information on the water outage can be found at www.nprwd.com.

Is the boil order for City of Max as the npw site only is listing a few townships in Ward and McHenry County? The news also only stated these areas, so anyone with direct line from npw or no internet would not know of these concerns. Just a concern.

The boil order for Max is only word-of-mouth, received as a recommendation from North Prairie Water District by our city maintenance person and passed on to our city auditor. We will let you know if we hear more, but that is all the information we have for now. As of 7:30 this a.m., the 29th, the NPRWD website has not been updated since yesterday.
