November 8, 2012

Please excuse an oversight in last week's news. Travis Wagner's paternal grandparents are the late Curtis and Wilma Wagner who lived east of Max. Both sets of Travis's grandparents were involved in the Community of Max. There are containers in Max businesses to collect money for Travis's 5 year old daughter, Chesney. She has her schooling ahead of her yet and funds will be needed.

The Child Evangelism - Good News Club will be held at the Max School at 3:20 on Monday, November 5, Tuesday 13th, and Monday the 19th and 26th. Come and bring a friend. Ben Vinje, Chapter Director, will lead the club.

There is a message on the Max web-site from Rich Tumbler. "Cute site for an equally cute town! Very well done. I hope to be able to stop here in my travels. Dick"

Visitors at Lila Fannik's home this week have been her sisters-in-law, Alice Dvirnak and Kay Dvirnak and some nieces and nephews, Lorin and Karen Dvirnak and Sally Dvirnak, all from Killdeer.
