The Soup and Sandwich Lunch sponsored by the Max Community Library this past Sunday was a huge success. They were busy! Here are the winners of the raffle. The following won the baskets:
Richard Hausauer, from Scheresky Ag; Dellora Schmidt, from D&L Automotive; Vanessa Kramer, from Avon; Christal Haugen, from Mary's Beauty Shop; Susan Plesuk, from Body By VI; Rick Talbott, from Creative Memories; Alton Lee, Gift Card basket; Tammy Johnson, Pampered Chef; and Joleen Hauff, Gift Card Basket. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all who put so much work into making this event a success.
Adult Health Services and Foot Care Clinic at the Max Senior Center on the 21st. Call 463-2641 for an appointment.
Max Senior Citizens' noon potluck and meeting on the 24th. Invite others to come and hopefully they will join. The Meals on Wheels program needs to serve more people than the 2 or 3 that are presently coming. Remember, we could lose the program if it isn't used more. Pick up your neighbor and come enjoy a meal you haven't had to cook. You can't get a full hot meal at these prices, anywhere.
They are busy working on the interior of the new C-Store. Weather has been in their favor. The Plunge can seems to be responding well to the weather, despite the warmer than average temperatures for this time of the year.
