Tomorrow, Thursday September 23rd is the last 6 o'clock potluck and meeting of the Max Senior Citizens. In October the potluck and meeting will be at noon. The program will follow this potluck - the program where you should bring an heirloom and say something about it. The speaker will help us understand "Who Gets Grandpa's Gun and Who Gets Grandma's Pie Plate."

On October 7th from 1-3 you can get your flu shot at the Max Civic Center on Main Street. On October 9th you can take in Our Savior's Lutheran Church's Lutefisk and Meatball meal from 1-5 at the church in Max. More information on this in next week's Max News.

October 29th is the Max Civic Club's Annual Steak Fry and Dance. Get your tickets early.

Sunnyslope Homemakers met at Phyllis Narum's of Douglas on September 13th. There were 7 members and 1 visitor present.

Larry Oilund from CA, Lila Fannik, and Lorna Sambor of Max, visited Margaret Scurlock on Thursday afternoon at the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison.
