A great time was had by four year old Katy Gillis when she attended the Annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House. Katy is the daughter of Dena (Olson) and Major Dave Gillis of VA. She is the granddaughter of Sharon and Art Olson and great granddaughter of Pat McIntyre all from Max; and great granddaughter of Anna and Larry Everson from Bowden. After the Easter egg hunt, the President and First Lady read stories to the children.
Max has a new City Maintenance woman, Tammie Johnson. Let's do our part to help keep the city looking nice.
The Max Public School is collecting data to estimate future class sizes. You are to contact the school at 679-2685 if you have a child who is 4 years or younger.
And let's not forget about helping to pay for the new bleachers in the gym at the Max Public School. Contact the school if you have any questions about this.
